Haldi & Devgon

10:00 am to 2:00pm

A joyful pre-wedding celebration where turmeric paste (Haldi) is applied to the bride and groom as a blessing for prosperity. This is followed by Devgon, which is a traditional Kashmiri puja (prayer) for the bride where she is doned in new clothes in preparation for the wedding. 

Lunch will be served.

Mehndi & Sangeet Night

6:00pm to 10:00pm

During the Mehndi, guests and family can enjoy getting intricate henna designs in a festive atmosphere. Sangeet is a lively pre-wedding celebration centered around music, dance, and performances by family and friends. Stay tuned for a special performance!

Dinner will be served.

03.

Baraat (Wedding Procession)

9:30am

Baraat is the groom’s wedding procession to the ceremony venue, accompanied by music and dancing. The procession will start at the Ascott Parc Main Entrance. 

Breakfast will be served.

Lagan (Wedding Ceremony)

10:00am - 2:00pm

The wedding ceremony aka Lagan is the sacred Hindu wedding ceremony where the bride and groom are married through traditional rituals around the holy fire, formally uniting them in marriage.

Lunch will be served.

Cocktail & Reception

6:00pm - 1:00am

Join us for cocktails, light bites, and conversation as family and friends gather before the reception. This is followed by a formal reception - an evening celebration to toast and celebrate the newlyweds. Get ready to wear your best dance shoes and dance the night away.

For our family and friends who may not be able to join us in Canada, we would love to celebrate with you in Delhi, India! Join us for an evening to toast and celebrate with the newly weds.
